Seeking permission to bring in foreign vessel into Thai territorial waters

Person wishing to bring in a foreign vessel into Thai territorial waters under article 47, bis, Thai Vessels Act, B.E. 2481.

Steps

Procedures for bringing in foreign vessel Thai territorial waters
1 Public submits application
2 Scrutinize documentary evidences ; receive application and submit report to Director General
3 Director General signs name; submits to
4 Sends application to Ministry of Transport for official signature
5 Director General signs name on Permit ,Vessel returned

Evidences required

Application shall be submitted at Vessels Registration Division.
Documents shall be submitted as follows:
1. Permit to bring in foreign vessel into Thai territorial waters.
2. SHIP'S PARTICULARS
3. CA RGO SHIP SAFETY CONSTRUCTION CERTIFICATE
4. CARGO SHIP SAFETY EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATE
5. INTERNATIONAL OIL POLLUTION PREVENTION CERTIRICATE
6. CARGO SHIP SAFETY RADIO CERTIFICATE
7. INTERNATIONAL LOAD LINE CERTIRICATE
8. INTERNATIONAL TONNAGE CERTIRICATE
9. Advertisement in a newspaper for 3 insertions , 3 days.
10. Copy of citizenship card , house registration of the applicant. In case of juristic person, there must be a certificate issued by Companies Registration Office certifying registration of company, its business purposes, and copy of citizenship card of person with power to sign.
